Merry Christmas from the Vault, Vintage Perfume Lovers...

A little reindeer told me to expect a few surprises under the tree... What do you hope Santa is bringing for you?

In an ideal world, I'd get...a bottle of Andy Tauer's 'Incense Extrème', another of 'Orange Star' and in the vintage department, a flawlessly stored bottle of vintage 'Cabochard'...

Well, I can dream...;-)

Thank-you for those lovely images. A very Happy Christmas to you . I am hoping for Amouage Gold extrait , No 22 extrait , Caron's En Avion , and about five thousand other perfumes. I will probably get money from a husband nervous he'll get the wrong thing after a nasty incident with No 19 last year . I did over the year fall in love with it but at first I HATED it .My face , sadly, gave away a great deal of shock as he was meant ( after hints ) to get No5 extrait .

tarleisio: what excellent smelling dreams you have! I hope at least one of these manages to find it's way to you soon.

Oh, I wish for a "Guerlain Surprise" of something I do not yet own. But that is...expensive, to say the least, and so I assume I will rather receive the usual gifts. I will keep dreaming of that forgotten, but affordable bottle of, say... Djedi, or Fol Arome.. or ... or....

Angela Cox: Happy Christmas to you as well. I agree with all three of your named choices- En Avion especially.

I'm wishing for Caron's Or et Noir myself but these Caron perfumes sure are hard to find.

Martina: Yum! A Guerlain Surprise- thank you for the lovely mental images you've conjured. You know, the Perfumed Court has little samples of the Fol Arome (in pure perfume) for under $20, if you're willing to risk falling in love with only a drop!

Many, many things of which I'm guessing none will make an appearnace under my tree. :) I would love to find a bottle of Shalimar Ode a la Vanille but I know there's no chance of that (unless I put it there). :)

Ines: Now you've let our biggest Christmas secret out! It seems every vintage perfumista has to play her own Santa. Well, here's hoping all your other gifts make up for it. And do try to get yourself some of that SOALV before it's completely gone;)
